Jim’s Jerky is owned by Jim and Cathie Tanner who ventured into the dried beef industry in 2004 when they purchased Temba Meats, the sole supplier of Jim’s Jerky beef products. The store was purchased from a South African couple who made biltong and jerky in small quantities. Soon the taste and flavours of jerky had Jim hooked and Jim’s Jerky was born.
